Okay, so I'm a nursing student and just near the end of my first class for this flex (Each flex is 8weeks long). I have been so stressed out about quizzes being due, nursing care plans, quiz, exam, and now finals!! Arrrrrgh! I went into severe anxiety attack *LITERALLY! I had to leave my clinical early last Saturday because I felt like I was going to puke my brains out as my eyeballs were going to shoot out of my head. I have never in my life experienced a migraine until Saturday. So after class Monday I was supposed to "be disciplined" and go home to study. But my family was going to the zoo, and since I've started school and I've had clinicals all day on Saturdays, I've been feeling like I've been needing some good ol' family fun. I ended up going to the zoo with them, and I had a blast! It was exactly what I needed to help myself to de-stress. I felt instantly lighter. Talk about instant gratification! Here are two of my fav pics from the trip of the animals I captured.
Rex "The Rhino"
Notice his purple wound? Poor guy. I felt his pain, except mine was in my head. Felt like I could have puntured a hold in my forehead to release the tension I was carrying. I felt like I had a great connection with him :)

So this is Ears "The Elephant"
He was very chill and reminded me how I need to be once in a while, especially when my body is calling for me to.
