So in my recent post my family and I went to Sea World to check out what Halloween stuff they had for the kids. Well my hubby and I went back with some of his co-workers to check out the "adult" part of the whole Howl-O-Scream. There were 3 different "mazes" for the adults. The first one we went to was Jack's Haunted Forest. That one by far was the best maze they had. We saw people taking their little kids in strollers, which we thought was just wrong. Talk about traumatizing your kids at a young age. We probably won't ever let our children go to these things until they are maybe in middle school, and that's only if I know they understand what's real and not. But, to each his own. The forest was pretty good, they had a lot of great actors and costumes. The second one we went to was the one next to the Great White rollercoaster. It was not really scary at all. It was more like a "fun" house. There's this one room you walk through where it looks like you are walking on a bridge as the room looks like its spinning. I had to block everything out and focused only on the wooden platform or else I would have puked my turkey leg everywhere. Then the last one was near Steel Eel. It was another forest one. That one was good too. I mean it's not going to be as long as the other haunted houses all over SA, but it was good entertainment for us. Here are some pictures via HTC phone.
Me waiting nervously for Jack's Haunted Forest
That's his excited face :)
This was in the "fun" house one
The scariest thing I saw was the mini-Michael Jackson
The tall dude was creepy, but after seeing this pic, I think the clown looks even creepier
Loved this kid's mask!!!
She was pretty cool in the dark
We also topped the weekend off with a small pumpkin carving party with one of our neighbors and just a couple of friends. Nothing big, just a more intimate gathering to catch up on some things and what not. I'm really paying for it now... I am extremely tired and still sore from my core workout from Friday :( I really kicked my own butt. But I'd rather be sore than sorry. Click on the tab called "My Work" for some of the pics from the pumpkin carving. Till next time people..... Have a blessed day :)
